My Heart Attack Story
I recently had open heart surgery. My symptoms included a pain in my right arm and slight heartburn in my chest but no pain. I had the pain in my right arm about 2 days and it got worse over time. I thought the pain was caused by doing to much work but that was not the case.
Another symptom I had was shortness of breath when climbing stairs. I had this about 6 months. I did not put 2 and 2 together about blocked coronary arteries causing shortness of breath, a symptom. I had 4 blocked arteries. 2 in one artery.
I drove myself to the nearby emergency room and told them about the pain in my arm. They took my blood pressure and noted it was 190 over something. I found out later pain will make you blood pressure shoot up.
Next step was a wheel chair where I was quickly taken back to a room where they begain to give me nitro, asprin and other things.
They took a sample of my blood. A few minutes later the doctor came back and told me the blood test result indicated I had a recent heart attack.
It was also a blessing from God that I had no heart damage!
Other tests indicated the blocked coronary arteries 2 days later. The next day I had bypass surgery.
The Lord had mercy on me. I got to the hospital before I had a major heart attack and real damage to my heart.
I have been motivated to help myself and others.
I research various articles about, cardiovascular disease, coronary disease, heart problems, preventing heart attacks, facts about heart disease, heart attack symptoms, heart conditions, signs of a heart attack and mnay more health related articles that make available information you may not know about you health and mine.
I thank the Lord Jesus that he had mercy on me and has allowed me to live.
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
